Wound Healing Association of Southern AfricaWHASA aims to promote the advancement and education of wound management at all levels of care. WHASA has joined with the Wound Care Society of South Africa to form a new united body for all wound care practitioners. The 2005 WHASA Inaugural Wound Care Conference was held 14 - 16 September 2005 at Kievits Kroon Country Estate, Pretoria, where the first unified multi-disciplinary Executive Committee was elected.
