The Biofilm Club
Biofilms and their impact on wound healing is probably the hottest topic around. However there is little published in the way of evidence of biofilm involvement and even less on management. Visitors to this site may be interested to hear that a multidisciplinary forum based in UK regularly meets to informally exchange ideas related to the biofilm concept. Their deliberations are published by the Biofilm Club and their latest offering is entitled Biofilms: Coming of Age. Not all of the chapters relate to biofilms and wounds, however if you wish to get more deeply acquainted with the world of biofilms we suggest that you purchase a copy by sending an email to the Biofilm Club . A flavor of what you will find in this enlightening book may be found in a sample chapter Evidence of biofilms in wounds and potential ramifications
